Cancer and Alzheimer's

This old man visits his doctor and after a thorough examination, the doctor tells him, "I'm afraid you have cancer."

Patient: OH NO! That's awful!

Doctor: You also have Alzheimer's disease.

Patient: Well, at least I don't have cancer.
