Beatin to death

A man finds a lamp and rubs it and a genie comes out. The genie said you got 3 wishes and for every wish your wife gets double.
The man said,"I want a new car", and got 1 but his wife got 2.
He wished for a new house and got 1 but his wife got 2.

He wished to be beaten half to death.....
